Lowriders meet Retablos = A "chingon" moden folk artist.

I am a product of the great chicano art movement. Born and raised in Santa Fe, NM. I've been blessed with the chance to absorb the deep rooted cultural icons of Northern New Mexico. 

I create contemporary folk art paintings, murals and other mixed media artworks. I chose to focus on subject matters that are rich with cultural connotation. I'm inspired by New Mexico's beautiful landscapes, Dia De Los Muertos (Day Of The Dead) traditions along with the connection between the old religious traditions of Northern New Mexico and the lowrider subculture. All of my pieces are a home-grown expression of pride.
